Brian Freeman “Framed” and Video

Brian Freeman is a whistleblower on child abuse in Lambeth. This set off a process by the powers that be to discredit him, some of the recent methods Brian mentions in this recent video.

Lambeth was and perhaps is one of the hotbeds of child abuse. Check out also a website of Brians previous book, “From Hillsborough to Lambeth”  [3]

I wrote “Loose Ends in Lambeth” a year ago [1] coincidentally, topically now, when I first publicly called for a Hillsborough style inquiry.

John Mann MP is also interested in more information about child abuse especially Lambeth. [4]

I am not sure where Brians new book will be available, “Framed” by William Freeman, co-contributors Michael Bird and Geoffrey Bacon, it is however available free here [11]

  7. Several months after it was published, I was vilely attacked on twitter by some narcissistic and ignorant trolls for having the timerity to publish the above article. None could provide any information or evidence to back up their claims about Brian Freeman. I have deleted all the comments as these trolls and fantisists appear to get off on the attention and publicity. Unfortunately they are severely damaged and ill people who need help, and they have a history of attacking other people and actually seem proud of it, like the child abusers themselves. However some good came out of the bile they spout and I came across the following article and the comments by dorothywolgar actually reinforced what I said in my article

I work in the field of investigative journalism and I have been following this case since it was brought to my attention in June 2008. A number of things about this case deeply disturb me. I will attempt to outline these below, so that the News Shopper (NS) might bring these to the attention of its readers in the public interest, since the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) states quite clearly the responsibility of Editors to comply with certain regulations. Most notably, these apply to “accuracy, fairness and balance” and at all times newspapers are charged with the responsibility of acting in the public interest.

The NS reports on this case are deeply disturbing. There is, for example, no balance; many things portrayed as ‘facts’ are simply not facts at all; the language used is biased and defamatory, and the fact that Mr Pead has appealed against his conviction was not reported at all. This certainly makes your article unbalanced.

However – as if that were not bad enough – the NS had abrogated its responsibilities to both Mr Pead and its readership at large by allowing comments from members of the public to be posted on its website without any apparent censorship. I am not a lawyer, but even I can see that abusive comments have been posted, and that there are false and malicious comments too. Indeed, one person even said “…Pead by name, paed by nature…” which is quite insulting and rather childish I would suggest.

The police knew within less than one month of Mr Pead’s arrest that his computer equipment contained no child **** images whatsoever, nor had they ever done so. They did not charge him until 8 months after his arrest. Your readership might like to think about why that was. Some of your less informed readers might like to know that real paedophiles do have this sort of material on their computers, but Mr Pead did not. Thus to label him a paedophile is clearly wrong (and libellous) when he clearly had not got any images of children, nor ever met with a child – this said by the Judge at Sentencing – and gave three false mobile numbers when communicating with this alleged 14 year old girl who did not even exist. I am extremely concerned that none of this information – real facts – was presented in your article for the sake of fairness, accuracy and balance.

However, I am not concerned about the legal aspects of your website – that is for Mr Pead and his lawyers to deal with. I am, nonetheless, concerned about the legalistic and journalistic intricacies of this particular case.

As a journalist, I have studied the impact of Operation Ore on the lives of more than 7,000 families in the UK. This high-profile police operation raided thousands of homes across the UK and wrongly arrested (and wrongly convicted) many innocent people. These innocent people had their lives destroyed by illegal police activities and flawed Crown Prosecution Service ‘evidence’.

For the sake of balance, accuracy and fairness, I have provided a link to a more detailed examination of Operation Ore:
The innocent and acquitted were immensely harmed in their private and personal lives, with many having lost employment, income, friends and reputation. Many Operation Ore defendants were not fortunate enough to be well advised, legally or technically. At least 39 people who were wrongly accused committed suicide.

My understanding of Mr Pead’s case is that he was ill-advised by his barrister on a significant number of legal matters and that he has subsequently sacked his barrister. The Judge described Mr Pead’s Defence statement – prepared, of course, by his barrister – as “…one of the worst statements I have ever seen, and certainly the shortest…”

I was unable to find in your article any mention of the fact that Mr Pead was convicted by a majority decision of 10-2, so this point needs to be made for the sake of fairness and balance. I understand that this verdict was arrived at on the last day of court before the Christmas break, and that the Judge had “hurried along” the Jury to arrive at a verdict or he would otherwise collapse the trial until the New Year with an entirely new jury! It should be borne in mind that Mr Pead’s Jury had also sat through a good deal of lies told to them in what was obviously a completely fabricated charge. One has to question the ‘safeness’ of the verdict in any event.

Nor did I find in your article any mention of the fact that there was no victim at all in this alleged ‘crime’. I do not know Mr Pead’s sexual proclivities, but how anybody could be described as a ‘pervert’ or a ‘paedophile’ when there is no victim is beyond my understanding. Perhaps it says far more about the people labelling Mr Pead than it does about Mr Pead himself.
I did note on the Comments section that a previous pupil of Mr Pead’s spoke highly of him and said that she had never noticed anything untoward about him. However, she did add that she felt sorry for the female and her family – yet there never was a real female or family in any event! Such was the distortion contained in your article.

Duncan Campbell is an investigative journalist specialising in privacy, civil liberties and secrecy issues. His best known investigations, including uncovering the existence of the GCHQ, have led to major legal clashes with successive British governments. I suggest your readers examine Mr Campbell’s work and they might begin to understand that they have been mis-informed.

The lack of accuracy, fairness and balance contained in your article – together with your rather malicious use of the Comments section – mean that the NS falls woefully short of the high standards expected of it by the Press Complaints Commission.
