Slindon College
A few points arise from the previous post of an appeal by Paul John Wright Paul John Wright 26th April 1989 Court of Appeal [2], which may be worthy of further research.
Wright was a former Head of Slindon College. He had previously been acquitted, together with his co-accused Hamilton-Byrne and Dawson, on the only surviving conspiracy charge. No first name is given for Hamilton- Byrne.

The Family
The Hamilton-Byrne name is unusual and also involved in a new age cult, The Family, but in Australia, where Julian Assange some say was brought up [1a]
Assange admitted that a man who was his mother’s boyfriend in the late 1970s had been a member of the cult. The man had been “a sinister presence” who sought to have “a certain psychological power” over his family, Assange said, and they eventually went on the run from him. But he said he never met Hamilton-Byrne or had any direct contact with the group as a whole. [9]
There were connections of the Family with England.
Although we travelled overseas several times, it seemed we basically travelled along a road, hopped on a ‘plane, got off, got into a car and travelled to one of Anne’s properties in America or England. [1a]
1970s: Hamilton-Byrne buys Broom Farm in Langton Green, England and a property in the Catskills, New York near Muktananda’s ashram. She also marries Bill. [4]
Sarah has documented in her book “Unseen Unheard and Unknown” how she was left in a haze of depression after the first ‘trip’ on LSD she had in England. We were told that she had brain damage due to an oak tree landing on her head while walking around Broom Farm; Anne’s property near Tunbridge Wells in England. Bens Full Story [6]

It would be good to know what else happened in England with the Family.
Any information gratefully received on the first name of the Hamilton-Byrne, the co defendant at Slindon, whether he was a teacher at Slindon College or his link to Slindon and any more links of Anne Hamilton-Byrne and the Family to England. Slindon College is only about 50 miles from the farm at Langton Green.
In Australia, Anne Hamilton-Byrne acquired fourteen infants and young children between about 1968 and 1975. Some were the natural children of members of The Family; others had been obtained through irregular adoptions arranged by lawyers, doctors and social workers within the group who could bypass the normal processes. The children’s identities were changed using false birth certificates or deed poll, all being given the surname ‘Hamilton-Byrne’ and dressed alike even to the extent of their hair being dyed uniformly blonde. [1a] [4]
The children were frequently dosed with the psychiatric drugs Anatensol, Diazepam, Haloperidol, Largactil, Mogadon, Serepax, Stelazine, Tegretol or Tofranil. On reaching adolescence they were compelled to undergo an initiation involving LSD: while under the influence of the drug the child would be left in a dark room, alone, apart from visits by Hamilton-Byrne or one of the psychiatrists from the group. [4]
“They were doctors who wrote out the prescriptions that controlled us; lawyers, who wrote out the Deed Polls that were needed to forge passports and birth certificates that created our false identities; social workers, who allowed Anne to by-pass normal channels to allow her to adopt, or simply steal in some instances, sixteen children; doctors and nurses who gave her contacts with rich dying people who then left their estates to her. It was the same doctors who signed their death certificates; psychiatrists who had people committed to Newhaven, Kew, Australia – the Family owned psychiatric hospital; and doctors and nurses who supervised the abuse of LSD, (which for a while they actually obtained free of charge from the Swiss drug company, Sandoz). [5]
It was also sect doctors who prescribed all the drugs she used to control and sedate people, because without drugs Anne’s power would have been diminished enormously. I can’t believe these educated people couldn’t have seen through Anne” [5]
This confirms
- the use and abuse of drugs on children
- the use of irregular adoptions arranged by lawyers, doctors and social workers who could bypass the normal processes and who could also change the children’s identities using false birth certificates or deed poll
Survivors have long said the above techniques have been used on them and others.

Only a “theory” & I’m just curious as to your opinion
But, I got a distinct whiff o child trafficking emanating from the family..
All the kids are approx same size, weight, age, all blonde, all given different names & we know some o the kids traveled abroad {who knows which ones tho} I d’no, like i said, just a thought.

I wouldnt be suprised at anything this bunch did. They also used twins I see from your post, a favourite of researchers of mind control. Trafficking is certainly a possibility.

This is potential one of more important of your posts as I have speculated without any direct knowledge or relayed evidence knowledge that the drug using communes, cults , groups of the sixties were a more likely source of adolescent children being introduced to premature sexual activity than the more common referred to occult and ritual abuse stories and here the cult film The Wicker man set in the Scotland based Summerisle involved the sacrifice not of a child by the virgin policeman when the crops on which the people depended for their livelihood failed. What one would expect is that children who grew up in these groups would have forward at some point during the past decades to the medical, psychiatric and psychological, and social support services more than the police and where specialist research will have been necessary to establish the factual basis if this happened on any scale. It will be appreciated that such activities presently appear to fall outside the scope of the Inquiry and which is one of my concerns that important areas have been deliberately set to one side by those who commissioned and pressed for the Inquiry.
